Oceanside, CA, January 7, 2011. Bob Zamarripa and Mike Smith of OneSource Distributors, LLC, Oceanside, CA, announced that the company is acquiring D&D Tool and Supply of Vista, CA. In the financial year 2008-2009, the SDFB distributed 11.3 million pounds of food – the equivalent of 8.75 million meals! Argo Electric and Pacific Parts & Controls, with revenues in excess of $14 million for fiscal 2001, are owned and operated by Frank Renek. The companies would become part of OneSource Distributors on or about Feb. 28. Renek, current president and chief executive officer, founded Pacific Parts & Controls in 1974. In 1995, Pacific Parts & Controls acquired Argo Electric Supply.

Two locations of OneSource Distributors Inc. have fulfilled the requirements to implement and maintain quality management systems through the certification of ISO 9001. OneSource's Central Distribution Center in Oceanside, Calif., and its Assembly and Manufacturing facility located in San Diego received a certificate of registration. ISO 9001 is an International Standard for quality management systems. This standard contains requirements that aim to not only assure the quality of products provided but also ensures internal processes are documented for compliance verified to highly rigorous standards.

OneSource Distributors, Oceanside, Calif., received accolades recently for its service to a major utility and for its actions during the California wildfires last fall. The company received the Supply Chain Leader Award from Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) for its performance as a PG&E supplier. “OneSource successfully partnered with PG&E to launch a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) pilot for electrical contractors,” said Steve Coleman, director of sourcing for PG&E. “OneSource has reduced inventory, enhanced customer service and increased order-fill rates.”

By Dale Funk, Contributing Editor Dec 1, 2001 12:00 PM OneSource Distributors Inc., San Diego, has signed a letter of intent to acquire the assets of Orange Coast Electric Supply Inc. (OCES), Irvine, Calif. OCES, with revenues projected in excess of $19 million for fiscal year 2001, became part of OneSource Distributors in late November. OneSource sales for fiscal 2001, including OCES, are projected to exceed $120 million. The combined company will have more than 200 employees.
